Bright ruby colour, fresh, very floral, red fruit aroma, beautiful nose. Good structure, freshness and lively tannins.
Grape varieties: Trincadeira, Aragonês, Touriga Nacional and Alicante Bouschet
Vinification: Fermentation in stainless steel vats with controlled temperature.
Ageing: 30% aged in French Allier oak, the rest in stainless steel vats.

Monte da Penha wines are developed by Francisco Baptista Fino in partnership with the award-winning oenologist Susana Esteban, who was distinguished with the title of Oenologist of the Year by Revista de Vinhos in 2012.

Do you deliver nationwide?
Currently, deliveries are only made to mainland Portugal. We do not yet ship to the Autonomous Regions of Madeira and the Azores.
Shipping has a fixed cost of €5.00 per order, regardless of weight or volume.
Where is the estate located?
Herdade Monte da Penha is located in Portalegre, in the Alentejo wine region, at an altitude of between 400 and 600 metres, benefiting from a unique terroir with granite and clay-limestone soils.
