Who is the responsible winemaker?

Monte da Penha wines are developed by Francisco Baptista Fino in partnership with the award-winning oenologist Susana Esteban, distinguished with the title of Oenologist of the Year by Revista de Vinhos in 2012.

Do you deliver nationwide?

Currently, deliveries are only made to mainland Portugal. We do not yet ship to the Autonomous Regions of Madeira and the Azores.

Where is the estate located?

Monte da Penha estate is located in Portalegre, in Serra de São Mamede, in the Alentejo wine region, at an altitude of between 400 and 600 metres, benefiting from a unique terroir with granitic and clay-limestone soils.

Where it all began

Inspired by generations dedicated to the vineyard and the Alentejo, Monte da Penha was born from a passion for the terroir and the authenticity of Portalegre wines.
