GRAPE VARIETIES: Touriga Nacional, Alicante Bouschet, Trincadeira and Aragonês

VINIFICATION: Fermentation in stainless steel vats with controlled temperature (28 °C). Maceration of the skins for 22 days after fermentation. 30% ages in French Allier oak and the remainder in stainless steel vats.

TASTING NOTES: Ruby colour. Sweet aroma of wild berries and freshness. On the palate, it is rounded, fresh, with excellent acidity and easy to drink.

Monte da Penha wines are developed by Francisco Baptista Fino in partnership with the award-winning oenologist Susana Esteban, who was distinguished with the title of Oenologist of the Year by Revista de Vinhos in 2012.

Monte da Penha is a family project of Francisco B. Fino Sociedade Agrícola Lda, dedicated to producing excellent wines in the Portalegre region. The passion for wine spans generations, maintaining a commitment to quality and authenticity.

Do you deliver nationwide?

Currently, deliveries are only made to mainland Portugal. We do not yet ship to the Autonomous Regions of Madeira and the Azores.

Shipping has a fixed cost of €5.00 per order, regardless of weight or volume.

Where is the estate located?

Herdade Monte da Penha is located in Portalegre, in the Alentejo wine region, at an altitude of between 400 and 600 metres, benefiting from a unique terroir with granite and clay-limestone soils.
